Phytate and Microbial Suspension Amendments Increased Soybean Growth and Shifted Microbial Community Structure

چکیده
Phytate represents an organic pool of phosphorus in soil that requires hydrolysis by phytase enzymes produced microorganisms prior to its bioavailability plants. We tested the ability a microbial suspension made from old growth maple forest’s undisturbed mineralize phytate greenhouse trial on soybean plants inoculated or non-inoculated with suspension. MiSeq Amplicon sequencing targeting bacterial 16S rRNA gene and fungal ITS was performed assess community changes following treatments. Our results showed nodulation shoot dry weight biomass increased when applied nutrient-poor substrate mixture. Bacterial diversities root rhizosphere biotopes were relatively resilient inoculation suspension; however, structure significantly influenced. Interestingly, four arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) identified as indicator species, including Glomus sp., Claroideoglomus etunicatum, Funneliformis mosseae unidentified AMF taxon. also observed ericoid taxon Sebacina sp. three Trichoderma spp. among species. Non-pathogenic Planctobacteria members highly dominated core hub taxa for over 80% all datasets biotopes. Overall, our study documented amendment improved plant growth.

Carbon Amendments Alter Microbial Community Structure and Net Mercury Methylation Potential in Sediments
Neurotoxic methylmercury (MeHg) is produced by anaerobic Bacteria and Archaea possessing the genes hgcAB, but it is unknown how organic substrate and electron acceptor availability impacts the distribution and abundance of these organisms. We evaluated the impact of organic substrate amendments on mercury (Hg) methylation rates, microbial community structure, and the distribution of hgcAB+ micr...
متن کاملMicrobial Amendments and Microbe-friendly Additives
Introduction Before we can understand the role of amendments and additives to the soil and their part in a healthy soil, we need to understand what is in the soil and role of some of the organisms in the soil. By knowing something about soil biology we can get a greater appreciation of the constraints and challenges presented by the use of amendments and additives to the soil. This article is n...
متن کاملLinking microbial community structure and microbial processes: an empirical and conceptual overview.
A major goal of microbial ecology is to identify links between microbial community structure and microbial processes. Although this objective seems straightforward, there are conceptual and methodological challenges to designing studies that explicitly evaluate this link. Here, we analyzed literature documenting structure and process responses to manipulations to determine the frequency of stru...

متن کاملEffects of cover crops, compost, and manure amendments on soil microbial community structure in tomato production systems
Soil microbial community structure and crop yield was investigated in field tomato production systems that compared black polyethylene mulch to hairy vetch mulch and inorganic N to organic N. The following hypotheses were tested: (1) hairy vetch cover cropping increases crop yield and significantly affects soil microbial community structure when compared to the standard plastic mulch and synthe...
